This is a series of some findings and you need to look through my eyes to understand and visualize. (Am very new to writing and you have to excuse my poor English and please keep correcting the spelling mistakes - mentally, while you read through. Yes, it’s a compulsion. J
HOW TO MAKE A KATTE RUN LIKE A KUDRE?
(how to make a DONKEY run like a HORSE?)
Life is simple!! (some day, I should provide the gyan on art of seeing – my version, but till then, you need to see or read this through my eyes). Katte (donkey) is a very simple and down to earth PRANI (animal). All it knows is to ‘carrying load’. At times, it is a PEDDU PRANI (innocent animal). With all its strength and capacity to carry, it has only one or rather two draw backs. One – it is a KATTE and second – whenever and wherever it sees a MOTUGODE (small bund wall) it just goes blank and will just stand there gaping under the shade of the MOTUGODE.
Now, after knowing the characteristic of KATTE, let us see how to make the KATTE run like a KUDRE.
Here comes into the picture – the boss character – AGASA (DHOBHI or washer man). AGASA is a nice gentleman who believes in his KATTE and simply knows that KATTE can run like a KUDRE – one day. He also knows his parameters on which a KATTE can be made to run like a KUDRE. He also knows his upper and lower limits along with KATTE’s mood swings and its weakness of MOTUGODE. He also knows that his transformed KUDRE may get a self-realization one day and become a KATTE once again snap back (LAAT MARNA – the kick to the glory).
All he has to do is load the KATTE with as much load as possible, may be more than its daily share. Then this AGASA would cleverly de-moralize the KATTE. Make the KATTE feel miserable and make him to feel like committing suicide. [Note that this AGASA is a seasoned, grey haired character. Please keep this in mind, if you are an AGASA, wanting to make your KATTE run like KUDRE, you are requested to take necessary precautions before trying this stunt. You may require expert’s advice. The ill effects of trying this stunt, in a wrong way, will be explained in the future posting, for your reference).
When the KATTE is fully loaded with its routine duty, while it has been already humiliated, and when it is feeling low and down, AGASA gives a small pause of time, making the KATTE feel every second as a day, then beats the KUDRE (who is another co-worker of AGASA), cursing the KUDRE like anything, abusing it to be useless and make it run.
Of course, KUDRE’s DHARMA (duty) is to run and it will, faithfully. While the KATTE with its sunken head will be watching the cursing and beating act from the corner of its sight.
Now AGASA will come to KATTE and surprise the KATTE by pricing it, instead of cursing and beating. This is where KATTE gets prepared (mentally, physically, with all the hormone & adrenaline release, blood rush, muscle swell) AGASA would crib to KATTE saying the KUDRE is a total waste to be on earth. Also he would price the KATTE that he has full hope on KATTE that it can carry the entire load and still can run faster than KUDRE. This is when the transformation takes place. KATTE starts considering the thought, which slowly brings the feeling that the KUDRE is useless and itself truly has the ‘super power’ to be better than KUDRE.
Note: “thought makes you what you are” and if KATTE believes that it is KUDRE, then it is, indeed.
KATTE determines to prove that it is KUDRE and starts running. All of a sudden, it realizes the load on the back is nothing and it starts feeling lighter than a feather. It feels, as if it is flying over cloud, it is a effortless, graceful run. It is running. Running like mad. Yes, it’s a mad run. AGASA is going ga-ga about the KATTE’s run now.
With all the load, it is running faster than the KUDRE now. Just about to overtake the KUDRE, KUDRE looks at the KATTE with that look of indifference (look for a future blog post on KATTE as KATTE and KUDRE as KUDRE) and laughs to himself and says “your run is only till a MOTUGODE”.
KATTE gets more furious because it is carrying that entire load and running faster than the KUDRE and had all the reason to believe that it is a KUDRE. It in fact a KUDRE now, by action, by thought, by virtue, by all means.
This is exactly what AGASA wanted, a KATTE performing like a KUDRE or rather both the role at once. This is what the article is all about: making a KATTE run like a KUDRE.
